Notes of All Sorts

Thanks to Ginger for the Rhonda Gunn quote!

Selling exactly 106, 213 units, DC Talk debut-ed at the #4 position on Billboard Top 200 album chart with their new album, SUPERNATURAL. The number three and five positions were albums by Kiss and Marilyn Manson, respectively. This is the highest number of albums a Christian artist has sold in the first week of the album's release.

Next week I will have information on Nichole Nordeman, the new Christian artist. If anyone would like to contribute any information or a review, simply reply to this e-mail. Thanks!

Responses to TELL ME

A. [contributed by Christina S.] What would your perfect tour be?

(BabyG) Newsboys, Third Day, The Waiting. (This tour is actually happening! It's coming to my town too!!!) (Bright Eyes) Rich Mullins (and company), Jars of Clay, Jennifer Knapp (Christina S.) Well, not Geoff Moore and the Distance anymore! :-( Actually [I've] already been to it: Fold Zandura, Seven Day Jesus and Plankeye, I just didn't know at the time that it would be the best concert I've ever been to! So, if I had to start from scratch (seeing how Plankeye's pretty much out of the picture as well) I'd say... Seven Day Jesus, The Waiting (because they are SO cool in concert) and All Star United is awesome in concert too. (Chris U.) Cindy Morgan (as the established artist); Clay Crosse (just to see him do a duet with Cindy) and Nichole Nordeman (for the new artist)...man what a tour (daybyday) DCT, SCC, and AA (Rebekah) Shaded Red, Audio Adrenaline, and REality Check B. Rate these artists on a scale of 1-10 (1-Don't like, 5=OK, 10=My favorite!!) -Nichole Nordeman 8.5 (Chris U.); 8 (Bright Eyes); 7 (BabyG); 5 (daybyday, Allison) -Steve Wiggins (Big Tent Revival) 8 (BabyG, Bright Eyes); 6 (Chris U.); 5 (daybyday, Allison) -Deneice Williams 7 (Chris U.); 5 (BabyG, daybyday) -Mitch McVicker** 10 (Bright Eyes); 9 (BabyG); 7 (Rebekah); 6 (Allison); 5 (daybyday) -Sheila Walsh 6 (BabyG); 5 (daybyday); 3 (Chris U.) -Kevin Max (DC Talk) 10 (BabyG, Bright Eyes, Rebekah); 8 (daybyday); 2 (Chris U.) ** Mitch McVicker's album is available at http://www.betterbookroom.com C.
