Notes of All Sorts

sneak quote from Carolyn Arends' "Happy"

[contributed by Chris U.] Please remember Cindy Morgan and her family in your prayers as her father, Cova Morgan (co-author of the #1 single "Listen") passed away this week. The family is taking it really hard.

Pray for Chris Rodriguez (prayer artist of February), that as a new artist he will please God and continue to do his best, writing songs. For the Christian Music Place's five-star review of Chris Rodriguez's BEGGAR'S PARADISE go to: http://placetobe.org/cmp/cmrh?page=albums/rodrc_00.htm

Responses To TELL ME

A. What artist that is currently just on a Christian label (and has had no mainstream success) do you think should go mainstream?

(Chris M.) Don't think any of them should.

(Chris U.) Cindy Morgan, she's the woman.

B. If you were an artist (or a manager of an artist), and had offers from Word, Sparrow, and Essential to be signed, which would you choose? Why?

(Chris M.) Sparrow, because maybe I would get to tour with Steven Curtis Chapman, Avalon, or Twila Paris!

(Chris U.) Sparrow: they have the best line up and pick the best singles...

(Rebekah) Essential: I like the bands on it more than all the other labels... although ForeFront would be my first choice.

TELL ME
(hit reply to respond)

A. Do you like programmed music or music that is recorded live better?
