Sixpence is Everywhere!

TODAY: Leigh Nash (the lead singer) will host VH-1's "Women First" program today (Tuesday, March 9th). The 30-minute show airs at 10 AM (Eastern) and 9 AM (Central) with a REPEAT showing at 4 PM (Eastern) and 3 PM (Central). Sorry if you miss it, I *just* got the info. Otherwise you can see Sixpence:

...On Jay Leno's Tonight Show on Friday, March 19th.

They also visited with Regis and Kathie Lee last week (where they somewhat discussed C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity). Also, Casey Kasem profiled Sixpence on his "American Top 40" program this weekend.

Kenny Greenberg at the Oscars

Kenny Greenberg (husband/producer of Ashley Cleveland) will be performing at the Oscars (March 21, 1999 8PM Eastern, 5PM Pacific)! He will be playing guitar for Allison Moorer's nominated song "A Soft Place to Fall." Look for the bald guy!

Responses To TELL ME

A. What is your favorite alternative song currently on the radio charts?

"One of these Days" (Chris M.)

"Skip to the End" - Mukala (Bright Eyes)

B. If you found out that Chris Rice would lose his recording contract if he didn't sell 20,000 units of his record in the next two weeks, would you go out and buy his record (even if you already had it)?

(Bright Eyes) Yes. I haven't been able to get it yet, so I'd love to have it. If I already owned it, I'd buy it for a gift for someone.

(Chris M.) No, because it would only be a drop in the bucket.

TELL ME

A. How do you feel about secular companies owning Christian record/distribution/booking companies.

B. If DC Talk, Nichole Nordeman, and Sixpence None the Richer were in concert the same night, who would you go see?
