1999 CCMDL Con-TEST

The CCM DL Con-TEST is both more simple and tricky this year. There were 100 questions on the test last year, while this year there are only thirty-three! A lot more are multiple choice. But BEWARE! You have to answer some questions with the wrong answer. Rules are explained in detail on the page. The person with the highest score wins a CD! Go to this URL: https://members.tripod.com/~allisoncm/ccmdl/1999ccmdl-contest.html

If you take the test before April 15th 1999, you get three extra credit points! Deadline to enter, however, is May 1, 1999.

Review of Lucent

The album open with a cool track called "Anointing." There are a couple good, quiet songs on the album called "Wind of Glory" and "Next to You", but pretty much of the rest of the album features great rockin' tunes glorifying the name of Christ. To learn more or to order the project, go to: http://welcome.to/lucent To order their project, you can also e-mail: Lucentweb@aol.com

La Rue

Brother-and-sister-act Natalie (15) and Phillip (17) LaRue of the new group, LaRue signed a multi-album recording contract with Reunion Records. They're working with Rick Elias for their producer and should release their first project in the summer of 1999.

Responses To TELL ME

A. How do you feel about secular companies owning Christian record/distribution/booking companies.

[Christina S.] doesn't bother me any, doesn't make the artist or company any less Christian. As long as the christian company/artist doesn't compromise what they believe in order to satisfy the secular company.

B. If DC Talk, Nichole Nordeman, and Sixpence None the Richer were in concert the same night, who would you go see?

[Christina S.] dctalk baby!! don't like nichole nordeman... and sixpence really only has like 2 songs I like... so it's dctalk all the way. Actually, I will be seeing them on april 30th cause my sis got us backstage passes, so that's gonna be awesome!
