What if I told You, by Allison McCulloch

What if I told You

Just a thought now
what if I told you everything
What if I told you what
would incriminate me?

What if I told you that I really thought
We should just go down with the ship

Just a dream then
What if I told you it's competitive
What if I told you, my dream's killing me
But I dream to live

What if I told you that I really thought
We should close the books and call it a day???

Just a liar just a liar
What if I told you not to listen to anything she says
Because though I'm sure she'll tell 1 truth for every ten lies
You may stop being able to tell reality from her perception
And I tell you her perception's dangerously screwed
And that's not good cause she has the power
But it won't mean nothing soon
It won't mean nothing soon

What if I told you that if you start playing in
you'll never stop
What if I told you what I mean to take back later?
What if I told you that I'm looking for an exit
Would you show me where to go?
Would you show me where to go?

Would you show me where to go or lead me to the nearest pit?
