They'll Survive

They'll Survive

As they all lie in the bunkers,
With their hearts all filled with fright,
They stare up at the sky,
Knowing this could be their final night,
But they still have the hope,
That they'll make it back home,
'Cause they're fighting for their America,
Just so life can carry on.

(Chorus) They'll survive,
Even if it's only in our hearts,
Life will move on,
They'll be remembered for years to come,
For the sacrifice's that they made,
For what they had to give up,
American's will remember,
And they'll survive.

In a small southern town,
On Veteran's Day,
A marble monument is being put up,
With all the names engraved,
Of those who gave their lives,
To give the freedom we have today,
The father of one of the soldiers,
Who died for USA,
Stands up to give a speech,
And this is what he says.

(Chorus) They'll survive,
Forever in our hearts,
Life will move on,
They'll be remembered for years to come,
For the sacrifice's that they made,
For what they had to give up,
All American's will remember,
And they'll survive.
