Nichole Nordeman

Nichole Nordeman just released her debut, entitled WIDE EYED, late September 1998. The lyrics are deep, and the music is kind of reminiscent of early Cindy Morgan, since Mark Hammond co-writes and produces for Nichole Nordeman like he did for Morgan.

She was native to Colorado Springs, Colorado, raised in a Christian home, went to a Christian school and was able to play the piano in her church, and had a relatively easy life. When she turned eighteen, however, her parents divorced and her family received strong criticisms from fellow Christians who should have been loving the family through this hard time.

After going to college, she moved to Los Angeles to hopefully make it in the secular music industry. After winning a music contest, Star Song Records noticed her and she soon was signed to the label.

Nichole's music is introspectively deep and challenges the Christian faith. It will be interesting to hear more of Nichole's music. Go to www.nicholenordeman.com for more information.
